METH (ICE) ADDICTION TREATMENT
‘Meth’ and ‘ice’ are both slang terms used to refer to methamphetamine, a powerful stimulant drug that affects the central nervous system. While both terms are often used interchangeably, there can be a slight difference in their connotations.
Meth usually refers to methamphetamine in its powdered or crystalline form. It can be smoked, snorted, injected or ingested. It is often produced in illegal laboratories with various degrees of purity.
Ice specifically refers to the highly purified form of methamphetamine – in the form of clear crystals resembling ice or glass. It is typically smoked using a glass pipe and has a more intense and prolonged high compared to other forms of methamphetamine.
