Dr. Worapakthorn Kongpesalaphun is a Thai Licensed Medical Doctor and Expert in Preventive Medicine (Community Mental Health) with extensive experience in addiction treatment and public health management. He holds multiple advanced degrees including a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master of Political Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, positioning him uniquely at the intersection of clinical medicine and healthcare administration.

Dr. Worapakthorn currently serves as Director of a hospital under Thailand's Ministry of Public Health, Department of Medical Services. His expertise includes managing treatment and rehabilitation programs for substance abuse, harm reduction strategies, and community-based mental health services. He has received specialized training in Indonesia and Germany on addiction treatment management and harm reduction policies.

He has been recognized with the Outstanding Civil Servant Award and the Excellence in Public Service Award for his work in sustainable addiction treatment and recovery programs.
