- Detox
- Counselling and psychotherapy

- Onsite fitness and nutrition
- Relapse prevention and aftercare
The Five Pillars of Effective Drug Treatment
Our program is built around five core pillars that all effective addiction treatment programmes should include. These pillars are clinically understood to stabilise the body, address the psychological drivers of addiction, and build the routines and resilience required for life after treatment.
Medical Detox and Stabilisation
For many clients, recovery begins with a period of medically supervised detoxification. Safe detox allows the body to stabilise and reduces the immediate physical risks associated with withdrawal. Our clinical team monitors clients carefully during this phase and provides appropriate medical support where required.
Counselling and Therapy
Addiction is closely linked to patterns of behaviour, thinking, and emotional regulation. Individual therapy and group counselling help clients understand these patterns and develop practical strategies for change. Our therapists use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational therapy, and relapse-prevention planning to support long-term recovery.
Holistic Therapies
Many people entering recovery experience high levels of stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation. Holistic practices can help restore balance and improve emotional resilience. Techniques such as mindfulness, breathwork, trauma release exercises, and meditation help clients develop healthier responses to stress and emotional triggers.
Fitness and Nutrition
Physical health plays a crucial role in recovery. Regular exercise improves mood regulation, supports sleep quality, and helps restore the brain's dopamine system after prolonged substance use. Our program incorporates structured physical training, including Muay Thai, strength training, cardiovascular exercise, and recovery-focused movement practices.
Aftercare and Relapse Prevention
Recovery does not end when residential treatment finishes. A structured aftercare plan helps clients maintain progress and manage the challenges of returning to daily life. We provide relapse-prevention planning and 12 months free aftercare, allowing continued connection to the recovery community after discharge.

Stages of the Addiction Treatment Process
The One Step program is structured around a series of clinically necessary stages. Each stage builds upon the previous one, allowing clients to move gradually from stabilisation to deeper therapeutic work and ultimately toward independently managed recovery.
Assessment and Stabilisation
When clients first arrive, the initial focus is on stabilising both physical and emotional health. This may include a period of medically supervised detox if required. The team will evaluate your substance use history, mental health factors, physical health, and personal circumstances.
Primary Therapeutic Work
Once clients have stabilised physically and emotionally, the program shifts toward deeper therapeutic work. This stage focuses on understanding the psychological drivers of addiction and identifying the behavioural patterns that sustain substance use.
Behavioural Change and Habit Formation
Recovery is not only about insight, it is also about changing daily behaviour. During this stage of treatment, clients focus on developing healthier routines and strengthening the habits that support long-term stability. This stage is where many clients begin to notice improvements in mood, concentration, physical energy, and confidence.
Preparing for Life After Treatment
As clients approach the later stages of residential treatment, the focus shifts toward life beyond the centre. This includes developing a detailed aftercare plan, identifying potential challenges that may arise after discharge. The goal is not simply to complete treatment, but to leave with a clear and realistic roadmap for sustained recovery.

The programme combines five pillars: medical detox and stabilisation, evidence-based therapy (CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma processing), group and individual counselling, fitness and nutrition, and mindfulness and body-based therapies. Every client also receives 12 months of online aftercare after leaving.
We recommend a minimum of 28 days. Many clients stay 6 to 12 weeks, depending on their substance, severity of use, and any co-occurring mental health conditions. Longer stays allow deeper therapeutic work and build stronger foundations for life after treatment.
Yes. Mild to moderate detoxes are managed on-site with medical oversight. Severe or high-risk detoxes — particularly alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal — are handled at our nearby partner hospital, after which clients return to the residential programme. Learn more about our detox process.
Days run from 7am to 10pm. Mornings start with fitness or yoga, followed by group therapy. Late mornings include individual counselling. Afternoons feature workshops, psychoeducation, and recreational activities. Evenings include reflection groups, SMART Recovery or 12-Step meetings, and free time. See our full daily schedule.
Core therapies include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) adapted for addiction, motivational enhancement therapy, trauma-informed care (TRE and EMDR), group therapy, individual counselling, family therapy, and mindfulness meditation. A visiting psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment and medication management when needed.
Every client receives 12 months of online aftercare therapy — weekly individual and group sessions with our clinical team. This is included in the programme fee and is unique among Thailand-based rehabs. Aftercare helps you stay connected, address challenges as they arise, and maintain the progress you made during treatment. More details on our aftercare programme.
Yes. Every client receives an individual treatment plan built around their substance or behaviour, mental health profile, and personal circumstances. The visiting psychiatrist and psychology team collaborate on initial assessment and make adjustments throughout the stay.
